Superior Court Chief Judge Forum connects the public with the local court

The DC Judicial Nomination Commission welcomed all members of the community to attend the DC Superior Court Chief Judge Candidate Forum on July 10. The Forum, which was held in the third floor Jurors' Lounge at Superior Court, was well attended by residents, court staff, and the media.

CCE was pleased to help publicize this public Forum as part of our mission to increase public interaction with our justice system. The Legal Times provided great coverage of the Forum.

In advance of the forum, CCE distributed a public copy of Chief Judge Lee F. Satterfield's extended statement of interest from his initial application in 2008, as well as the abbreviated 2012 statement here. Chief Judge Satterfield is the sole applicant.
