The Council for Court Excellence has joined with six other organizations to sponsor a forum to publicize the upcoming election of DC’s Attorney General. The forum will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Moot Court Room (Building 52, Room 518) at UDC’s David A. Clarke School of Law, 4340 Connecticut Avenue, NW (near Yuma).

Dean Shelley Broderick will moderate a panel that includes AG Irv Nathan, former AG’s Bob Spagnoletti and Peter Nickles; former Councilmember Kathy Patterson; Council Chair Phil Mendelson; and former Mayor Anthony Williams. The forum’s title is “So You Want to Be DC’s Attorney General.”

Besides CCE, co-sponsors include the American Civil Liberties Union of the Nation’s Capital, DC Appleseed, DC Vote, the David A. Clarke School of Law at UDC, the DC Bar, and the League of Women Voters of the District of Columbia.

Please RSVP to Kathy Evangelista, kevangelista@udc.edu, 202-274-7437.
